PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS:
Empowering Youth Leadership Program teaches practical and soft skills to 6th-12th graders that serve as building blocks for future leadership roles. The program offers two sessions beginning in May and running through mid August, with each session being six weeks. In each session, students will be a part of a team who provides care for our animals, learns leadership skills, grows in their relationship with Jesus, and serves our community during GOYR Events. For six weeks, students will meet twice a week for a total of three hours of training and ranch service. Training includes ranch care, horse training, archery training, Family Fun Nights, event promotion, personalized ranch projects and emergency protocols. At the end of the six week session, the students will coordinate and manage a Family Fun Night event at the ranch, where they will also be recognized for their accomplishments at the ranch.

Community Outreach and Engagement – Students will put their skills to work through planning and leading:

Family Fun Nights- An event where families get together, laugh together, and play together. These are wonderful opportunities for families to connect with other families in the community, play games and experience the Ranch.

Community Events- Participants learn the importance of civic involvement through participation in public events.

Students who complete a minimum of six Ranch Care Hours during the session, serve at one community event, and attend four Empowering Youth Leadership Training sessions will receive a letter of recommendation and certificate of completion. In addition, the students will be recognized at our Family Fun Night event at the end of the session month, highlighting the skills they learned throughout the season. Program tuition is $250.00 for one child, $360.00 for two children. Tuition includes book material and t-shirt.
