Home Schooling at the Ranch

Outdoor session while homeschooling at the ranch.Learning horsemanship at the ranch.

Children will spend the morning participating in hands-on educational activities around Graceful Oaks Youth Ranch. Each Monday we will start our day with ranch chores, learn how to take care of the ranch and the animals, horsemanship activities (riding might not be scheduled every session) and we will work on a nature/science related craft or art activity. There will also be time to socialize and play with our friends.

We are planning the program to continue through the school year, August through May, with breaks for Holidays and typical school vacations. Children will get to experience the ranch during all seasons. We work and play outside at the ranch. Children should dress appropriately for the weather of the day and expect to get a little dirty somedays. Closed toe shoes are required.
